Established in 1986, Gurun Buddhist Association (GBA) has been a beacon of hope and wisdom, dedicated to spreading the Buddha's timeless teachings across generations. As a member of the Young Buddhist Association of Malaysia (YBAM), we are part of a network committed to promoting compassion, wisdom, and gratitude.
Our Heritage
Situated near the historic Bujang Valley and Bukit Choras, our society is deeply connected to the rich Buddhist heritage of Kedah Tua. These ancient sites remind us of Buddhism's deep roots in this region.
Inspired by this legacy, GBA is committed to carrying forward the light of Dhamma and compassion, helping all beings find freedom from suffering and true happiness.
